Members
The GeEAUde partnership chair aims to :
Sustain and support strategic collaboration among its founding members by establishing an institutional framework,
Supporting the joint development of research projects and the pooling of technical, human, and financial resources,
Bring together and implement high-level operational research.
GeEAUde is open to private and public partners, both national and international, with different levels of involvement possible: partner member, associate member, sponsor.
Founding members
The three founding members are committed to a renewable five-year term. They meet regularly for follow-up commitee meetings to decide on the main directions of the GeEAUde chair.
Avignon University
It is a public scientific, cultural, and professional institution. It is under the authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation. The University participates through the Hydro team, which specializes in hydrogeology, and through the EMMAH joint research unit, to which the team is attached.
INRAE
The National Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research is a national public scientific and technological institution under the authority of the Ministries of Agriculture and Research. The institute participates in GeEAUde on topics related to groundwater recharge through the EMMAH joint research unit.
Partners members
Partner members can be private or public, national or international. They enjoy privileged access to results and sit on the GeEAUde steering committee.
ATEC Hydro
Small engineering firm based in Pertuis (84) specializing in technical assistance, studies, and consulting in hydrogeology and the environment.

Drim
Small engineering firm based in Avignon (84) specializing in geosciences, particularly geophysics.

Ginger Burgeap
Large engineering firm operating throughout France, specializing in the environment, particularly contaminated sites and soils.

SCP
As the concessionaire for the Provence Canal in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, it secures access to water in Provence.

Suez
French company specializing in environmental issues related to water and waste.

ASA Canal Saint-Julien
The ASA (Association Syndicale Autorisée) of Canal Saint Julien manages the canal branching off from the Durance River and irrigates 6,000 hectares of farmland across seven municipalities.

Département 84
The Vaucluse department is actively involved in water resource management and has implemented a dedicated action plan.

MRE
The Maison Régionale de l’Eau (Regional Water Agency) is an association that works to promote knowledge and sustainable management of water in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. It carries out numerous scientific outreach activities.

PNR Alpilles
The Alpilles Regional Nature Park includes Natura 2000 sites and a biosphere reserve. It covers 16 municipalities and has an extensive network of irrigation canals.

PNR Luberon
The Luberon Regional Nature Park is a Global Geopark, a biosphere reserve, and home to Natura 2000 sites. It covers 77 municipalities and plays a key role in water management as the coordinator of the Calavon SAGE (water management and development plan).

RAO
The Rhône-Aygues Ouvèze union is based in Sainte Cécile-les-Vignes (84). It manages the drinking water supply for 40 municipalities in Haut Vaucluse and southern Drôme.

PACA region
The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region is heavily involved in preserving and restoring the environment within its territory. It has a Water and Natural Risks department.

SMBS
River syndicate based in Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue (84) whose mission is to manage the rivers and natural environments associated with the Sorgues basin and the Vaucluse canal.

SRV
The Rhône-Ventoux Syndicate (SRV) is a drinking water syndicate based in Carpentras (84). It is responsible for water distribution and sanitation in more than 30 municipalities.

Associated members
Associate members support the GeEAUde Chair and participate in the life of the GeEAUde Chair without participating in scientific work. Their objective is to promote the GeEAUde Chair and to promote and communicate their own activities through their membership of the GeEAUde Chair.
Avignon city
Located in the heart of Provence, Avignon is the largest city in the Vaucluse department with a population of nearly 92,000. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its iconic monuments such as the Palais des Papes and the famous Pont d’Avignon.

Syndicat Durance-Ventoux
The Durance-Ventoux water syndicate supplies drinking water to 120,000 residents in 28 municipalities between Monts de Vaucluse and Luberon. It is committed to preserving its resource, the Durance River, and to combating waste by reducing leaks in its network.
